Baby Steps...

If you have read/seen my contact me page, you will know that my Mum has a cake making business ~ Sparkle Cake and Cookie House.

I think its absolutely fab, as when I go around, she's normally making a cake for someone.

This means there is either excess cake or icing.

And that... That, I get to munch on!

Yay!

Haha.

 

I went around a few weeks ago and Mum was reeeealy busy.

To the extent where she couldn't really talk to me much.

Boo.

So, I asked if I could help.

I didn't actually think she would take me up on it.

Hahahaha.

 

There I was, at the dining table, making BABY FEET.

Yep, my Mother had me making Baby feet.

Not your 'normal' afternoon with your Mum, Dad & Grandad.

 

Now my 1st attempt was blooming awful!

You could tell that it was icing.

Actually I think that they looked like a child had made them out of play-doh!

I had a proper look at what I had made, the mistakes I had done & corrected them.

It took a rather long time, but I nailed it. I really think I managed to make the baby feet look quite realistic:

 

 

 

And here is the end result:

 

Mum done the rest of the hard work.

I done the feet and cut out a few stars.

....Also ate a fair amount of icing!

 

Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it!
