I do love me a chunky knit. There is just something about knitwear that makes me think cosy, open fire, glass of red, & cuddles after a fresh air open walk in fields, open meadows & lakes in mountain terrain or by the sea.
I bet you have just drifted away with me there? Bliss, right?
It will be no surprise to you then that I have in fact got a chunky knit in this OOTD.
The chunky knit comes in the form of a throw/cardi/poncho type thing (so on it with the correct terminology!) from Primark.
Its part of their new collection and at £14 I would hurry and get in there quick!
The part I adore about this item is the flash of burgundy in it.
Next up you will see that I have kept the rest of my outfit quite simple:
Black vest top from H&M, Jeggings (my old faithful's!) from Yours, Black pumps from Primark a year ago.
To set the outfit off, I matched my nails and lippy with the burgundy flash on my knitwear:
