Step by Step Spring Nails~Pics too

NAIL PORN.
Yes, you read that right... Nail porn! Lol.

I got carried away on Friday night, (whilst desperately trying to catch up with Game of Thrones!) looking on my twitter feed at the best collection of nail porn/art there currently is. (The page is @NailxPorn)
There was such an array of colours, styles, short, long, false, natural. I could imagine the type of woman who's nails they all belonged to. It was great. I got lost in my own little world for a while. :) Also missed some crucial parts of #GoT! Ooops. Didn't go down well with the bloke, thank goodness for rewind!
Anyways, back to nails. :) I just couldn't help myself retweeting & favoriting these pics of gorgeous nails.

I feel like nails are a form of art, just like your makeup is. :) You can get creative & spend so long on them. You can portray your mood, match them up with your outfit & because there are so many colours there is always a perfect match for that season. Especially if you are a fashion follower. Thing is I'm not! Lol. I just like choosing random colours/designs that I like or make me feel happy at the time.

The one I saw on there that really stood out to me was a blue back ground, with 'Daisy' flower designs on the nails:

I have decided to do this one, but my way. I was going to paint my nails a bright blue anyway & I have my new nail art pens (click this link nail-art-galore-and-glitter-lamps) that needed using so, perfect. :)

STEP ONE: File nails into shape desired.

STEP TWO: Apply base coat onto nails, to avoid any staining & also grip chosen nail polish.

STEP THREE: Paint entire nail in chosen colour. First layer a thin coat, second make sure all is covered well. :) I chose Avon Nailwear Pro+ In Cosmic Blue.

STEP FOUR: Choose what colour you want the petals, of the nail art pens. Apply a small blob & spread to form a flower/daisy shape. I chose white. *Choose wherever you want to put them. No rules. ;)

STEP FIVE: Apply the middle part of the flower, in your chosen colour. I went for bright green. :)

STEP SIX: Seal all your hard work in with a slick of top coat. Also adds shine. (**Shiny, Sparkly**)

Et voila! Bright, daisy/flowery nails for Spring! :D

What nails are you lusting over for Spring?

What do you currently have on your nails?

Come on, lets chat NAILS!

Kate.

XxX

ps, *tip ~ apply top coat every other day & it will keep your nails shiny & keep your polish on for longer ;)
