Get Angel feet for party season

This time of year we are all guilty for putting are feet through hell.
The hell of high heels, shoes that don't quite fit as they were the last pair on the shelf and we obvs just HAD to have them, dancing for hours, walking from bar to club, standing in said bar talking for ages, then the shoes that look totally sexy, make your pins look like they go on for days (give your bum that great bubble butt lift) well they rip your feet apart with blisters or rub the skin off and create all sorts of pain in your ankles, leaving you in a right kerfuffle!

Exhibit A
My platform, glittering, fabulous, stiletto, stripper shoes that I adore...
But they obvs put a lot of pressure on the ball of my foot.

Not what you want them to look like... Nor what your bloke or perspective bloke wants your feet to look like either! Nope.

We all want Angel feet & tootsies. Yep. Feet that look like they have been kissed by pixies and massaged by Zeus.

Exhibit B
Stiletto heel again (their so pretty!)
Stud & diamonte encrusted heels, peep toe, slight platform.
Even worse on the feet as not a lot of platform, making them worse on the ball of said feet, and the peep toe also can cause rubbing...

How can we prevent pigs trotters?

Well here's my fool proof tried and tested method from someone who use to suffer when on a night out... Moi!

Preparation:

Soak feet in hot/warm water.
Either in the bath, a foot tub or a basic plastic bowl will do.
If in a foot tub/bow add peppermint bubbles (or foot specific bubbles) as these are fab for feet! Energising and refreshing. It makes your feet tingle.

Scrub feet with a brush.
Use a body brush, it will help get any excess skin/dead skin on the top layer off.

Use a foot file first and then a pumice stone to buff off any dead/hard skin.
Do it in circular motions.
Normally found on the heals, big toe... Any pressure points that you lean on in your shoes.
Be careful not to apply too much pressure or concentrate on one area for too long as you will make that area sore and can also irritate or make the area bleed.
You don't want to make your feet worse!

Once the skin is nice and smooth apply a foot cream, lots of it.
Then put a sock on top. A nice thick pair.
This will make sure you don't slide around everywhere and get the cream around the house.
Also it should heat your feet up so they absorb the cream.

I do the above in the evening, so by the morning my feet are nice and soft.
You will notice a difference after doing this once.
Id say to do this at least once a week to keep on top of it.

Defo moisturise your feet everyday though!

All that's left is to choose a nice polish to paint your nails.

Prevent:

To prevent any rubbing, work out the pressure points on your new shoes (or troublesome ones) and make sure you have them areas cushioned.
Buy gel cushions for the balls of your feet and the back where they can slip.
Peep toe? Use a cold sore plaster that's for lips on your toes!! Genius!!
Carry plasters in your handbag for emergencies. Not just for you, but your friends. They will love you forever!!
