Good afternoon, morning, evening whatever it is your way in the world!
I first of all need to apologise for my absence. If you carry on reading, you shall find out why I have not been about!
This has been my life for the past two months (the time I have been AWOL):
> If you can see, I have gone from natural brown/blonde ombre hair to a bright red head!
Pure mistake... At first, I was doing blonde highlights, they went wrong, only had red hair dye in the cupboard, et voila - I am now rocking a vibrant new colour. I loves it.
> I started a new job, I am now not at said job. Long story.
> I have been discharged from the ophthalmologist at the hospital!! WOOP, WOOP! My eyesight is now stable enough, over an extended period, I have better than 20/20 vision (with correction), still missing a couple of spots on the fields test however it is in 'normal' range.
I am so over the moon with this. It'll be 2 years in February that I lost my vision for 3 months in my left eye and half my right. This is such an achievement!

> I have dropped a further 2 dress sizes - unsure as to how much weight now. Think it must be about 4 stone.
> I have joined the gym. Today. I plan to keep getting rid of this weight. Until I am in a fit state. Toed and as healthy as I can be. (Yes, I am going to get advise from both neuro & pulmonary clinicians!)
> I am challenging myself everyday with something new. Obviously, with all that has happened, it has an impact on your mental state. I have previously touched on this subject. I am a great believer in helping yourself. In doing so, I try to give myself little challenges everyday. "We will never get to repeat this day again; make the most of it".
> I have got more social. I am making a conscious effort to get out and socialise more with friends. I was in hospital for a long enough duration that I now need to make up for it! ;)
After reading the above, I hope you will understand why I have not been about in the blogging sense.
Life Happens.
