For most this is something you do every year, the fireworks go boom, everyone says "oooh ahhh" gets mundane.
I kinda thought it was going to be a bit boring watching the fireworks but was looking forward to wrapping up warm (in my new coat and beanie hat) having a hot choc and wandering around in the fresh air.
We got there and the bonfire was roaring, hot (obvs) and the atmosphere was buzzing. Just made me smile instantly. There were rides, stalls, hook a duck, food and drink vans it was a proper event. Not what I had expected. I all of a sudden felt quite excited. Since my IIH diagnosis I find it difficult to process emotions or feel them. Numbing really. I think I go from other peoples reactions...
Anyways, the fireworks started and it hit me. I couldn't remember (still cant) the last time that I saw a fireworks display. In real life. In person. In the fresh air... I can only remember watching them on TV at New Year. #Awks.
They were so pretty. I don't remember seeing anything so sparkly, pretty, stunning or amazing in the sky EVER! It was amazing. Just amaze. I enjoyed it that much I took a ton of pics and a couple of videos. We had a cracking spot to view it all too!

As there were rides, I couldn't go without trying... Much to the fright of my fella and Ma! I don't know if I am meant to go on rides as it makes the pressure rise in your head and that's what we are working to keep at a decent level! But in my defence, if I was to die tomorrow, I had a bloody good day before!! Haha.
We can safely say that I wont be going on any rides for a little while again. Lost balance coming off & didn't know if I was standing or laying! Ha.
^After the rides!
After all the shenanigans it was time to join the queue to go home. For 45mins!
Other IIH'ers, have you been on any rides or theme parks?
What was it like for you?
Hope you enjoy the pics.

Ps I love my hat!!
Looks like you had a blast, your photos are SO pretty. I haven't been to a proper fireworks 'do for years but we had a small selection at home this year to show my (almost) 2 year old nephew what all the fuss is about. Good on you for trying out the rides, IIH can't take control of everything and sometimes you've just got to have a little (and maybe suffer for a little bit afterwards). I've not been on any since my diagnosis, I'm far too scared of them!

It was such fun. Including the not feeling so hot afterwards! Lol. Hun you have gots to go to a fireworks night! You're like me with the old noggin not working with memory at times. I am sure you'd loves it. After the rides I went on... I don't think I'll be going to a theme park anytime soon!! Hahaha.
