Shoe Closet - Every Girl Needs One!

If you have been keeping up with me via my blog or Twitter, you will know that I have been clearing my home out of all the junk myself and my Fiancé have accumulated over the last few years.

Its a task and half but I keep telling myself its all worth it!

As I'm sorting it all out, I'm slowly realising how many shoes I have...

Boy I have a lot!

But they are just one of those items that I cannot stop myself buying.

Their too pretty.

Its had me thinking...

I NEED A SHOE CLOSET!

 

Shoe Closets.

Every girl dreams of having those huge walk in wardrobes (more like walk in room)

when we buy or rent our own homes with our better halves, that are able to cater for our even bigger collection of shoes, handbags & clothes.

For me, I have always had a thing about shoes & handbags.

 

I have scoured the net (Bing search) for some of the dreamiest shoe closest & also some of the more quirky & clever ways to store your beloved shoes, whether they be Louboutin or Zara!

 

To start I found the absolute dream of a walk down wardrobe/shoe closet.

I mean they are even colour coded & there is a seat for you to perch on whilst you slip your chosen shoes on.

 

 

 Queen Mariah obviously was going to have one of the most stunning shoe/boot wardrobes, right?!
Chandelier?
Check.
Tailor made boot storage?
Check.
I guess the gold suns on the floor are actually GOLD!
Oh, & hi chandelier...
 

 

 I'm guessing this is more of a blokes set up?
As it seems to be more practical.
Also TV.
Loving the marble table/draws in the middle; fab for getting an outfit together or for when you are struggling to choose that handbag or pair of sling backs!

 

 

 Ok, onto the ones that are more affordable.
I like the idea of a shoe wall.
A whole wall dedicated to shoes? Right up my street!
Also, rather easy to make with some basic DIY know how.

 

 

Old wardrobe?
No storage for your shoes & handbags?
Et voila!
Here is your PERFECT solution!! 
It also has a chic French element to it too.
I would paint it that crackle white effect & go with gold handles/accessories, to go with my bedroom.
Adds a vintage feel.

 

 

Do you have space under the stairs, but cant get a door there?
Ta dah.
Look what these clever clogs did!
Awesome!
I'd prob put seasonal footwear in there.
Easy to grab. 

 

 

 No room?
No space to add any bulky items?
Add an old wooden ladder (or new) & pop your heels all the way up.
They make fabulous accessories too!
