Keeping it Natchhhh (For a bit!)

Hi guyyyys!

Sorry I have left my blog empty for a couple days. But I escaped with my man to the countryside for a couple days to relax & unwind. It was a last minute decision but the best possible one.

Anyway, todays blog.

If you haven't gathered already, I am a addict to makeup & wouldn't dare leave the house without putting my 'face' on first. Its a running joke with my fella that I would 'scare small children' if they saw me without my full coverage, full face, full everything on.
So if I leave the house without my full coverage, full 'face', full everything on... Its a pretty big deal. I am either really ill or I have a wicked tan! Lol.
However lately, I have wanted to lay off putting so much base makeup on. I want to let my skin breathe.

Thing is, base makeup is the one thing I spend ages on. I dedicate so much of my time in the morning on that one aspect. It probably stems back to when I had quite a few little spots on my forehead and chin when I was younger (in secondary school) & I still feel the need to 'cover up' what isn't there anymore.

But I have gone for it! I bought a BB cream for myself on Wednesday and have been using it since.

Decided on a BB cream as I haven't got any redness to cover that a CC cream would be better for. I have areas that I would prefer 'blurred' though; makes the BB cream a good choice then.

As I was pairing back my base, I decided to do the same with the rest of my makeup (as I said in my title.. For now!!) The eye shadow > gone, lipstick > gone.

I am now wearing: no eye shadow, a small application of brow pencil, a lip-stain, added a pop of pink blush, the BB cream, a touch of concealer under my eyes with a small coat of mascara just to make me look awake lol... That, that is it!!

As you can see.

And without lip-tint underneath.

I plan to keep up with this, on the days I'm not at work, or I may even give it a bash for work!
Also I will still have 2 days free of makeup.

Have any of you tried a BB or CC cream?
What do you think to it?
What are your thoughts of going more 'natural'?

Kate
