The Eye Clinic Left Me Confused With No Answers (IIH/PAPILLEDEMA)

Work was up and down in the amount of people coming through the doors today, but I found myself some new glasses! :D YAY!


Anyways, the eye clinic. It took forever. I was here there and everywhere. Visual acuity first, then pressures and colour blindness tests, the great fields test (rolls eyes) and finally seeing the man himself the ophthalmologist. I'm not great at waiting! All that and he disagrees with both my consultant and her understudy... They both say I have swelling of the optical nerve and he says I don't.... Confusing or what?! He didn't discuss any findings off my test results with me either. Odd. No?! All of those tests and time, plus waiting around, to be left confused. Great! All I can be left thinking is, maybe its the pressure build up doing this, or if not that is it just the condition itself causing all of my 'symptoms'. If anyone out there has any answers or theories for me, please comment on this. It would be greatly appreciated.

 

 

On a brighter note (literally!), my Mr has done two coats of the 'Wild Orchid' paint on our feature wall and it is making our bedroom look absolutely amazing already. :) Tomorrow is the start of the rest of the walls in 'Lilac'. I guess that's my cue to get on with the draws then!!
