Juicing with Coconut Water

 
Ok so strictly speaking, its not actually 'juicing' its more of a blend.
 
I have seen all the 'hype' about coconut water and its benefits.
I also done a little research.
(I may just blog about the facts I have found!)
 
On the basis of what I have read, the benefits that it is meant to give you - especially if you hit the gym - I grabbed it with this weeks shopping.
 
 
On trying my first ever sip of it, I decided it tasted like ass!
Yep, ewwww!
 
 
I really wanted to like it!!!
Totes disappointed!
 
Then, like a little light bulb gong off in my noggin, I thought it will prob be rather epic in a smoothie/juice concoction.
 
 
 
I was so right!
 
I used the coconut water instead of 'normal' water
or milk/soya milk in my lunchtime (pre gym) smoothie.
It tasted pretty good.
 
But it looked rank:
 
 
In my drink, I had:
One large banana,
Two kiwis,
One large handful of grapes.
 
 
I poured the coconut water to the halfway point on the grapes.
This made the mixture quite fluid.
To make it thicker add another banana or less
coconut water.

    1. Too true there! Especially the ones with carrots! They smell like vinegar but taste quite sweet. I haven't tried a kale one yet... XxX
