Brain Freeze Challenge - IIH Awareness Month

****I have made some changes ~ Please read!****

 

Above I have created a little 'board' of what us IIH'ers have to deal with most days.

 

Yep. We deal with headaches, dizziness, chronic pain, tiredness, a foggy head & brain freeze all the time.

Its our 'normal' and what we have to get use to.

Notice HAVE to get use to.

We don't have a CHOICE.

The more our pressure goes up or in some cases if our pressure is too low, the worse our symptoms can get.

 

Anything from staying up a couple of hours later, that extra glass of vino, to travelling just an extra hour down the road can make our lives just that bit more of a struggle.

 

I am still learning what I can and cant do in my life.

What effects me and what doesn't.

Being 18 months in, I can sometimes be a bit naïve to it & push myself just that little bit too far.

I then pay for it the next few days.

 

The Brain Freeze Challenge!

 

This is the item where we need your interaction most.

 

We want to get you to feel how IIH is for yourself, just for a few moments.

 

So this challenge gets you to have a small glimpse into what life is like for us with IIH.

 

Ready?

Lets go!

THE CHALLENGE:

 

*Choose your poison... Not literally! 

A drink that goes with ice...

 

*Get a chair that spins round in a circle

(don't worry if you don't...)

 

*Get a blindfold, or if you don't,

do like Christian Grey from 50 shades!

 

*Into your chosen drink add shards of ice/ice & a straw.

Make sure your drink is real cold!

 

*Now sit on your chair, or stand, then...

 

*Put your blindfold on.

 

*Down that drink as fast as possible & get spinning!!!! 

 

*If you don't have that spinny chair, spin yourself in a circle (but please be careful!)

 

Once you have done it ~ Name your next 3 victims!

 

Once you have done the challenge,

give £3 to our charity.

 

If you fail to do it you forfeit,

so cough up £5!!

 

 

The result should be interesting, also you should get a little glimpse into our IIH life.
