Green Tea Virgin

Green tea is something that I have been wanting to try for a while now. But I continued to put it off as I had cut out caffeine (I limit myself to one drink with caffeine in per day. Some days I have none) changed from milk to soya in my tea, coffee & drinks and then eventually almond milk in my cereals.

The main reason I have been wanting to try Green Tea is because I constantly hear about how good it is for you. With all of its antioxidants etc.

I wanted to gradually & gently set myself into a new routine and new way of drinking and eating. I am well set on my no caffeine, soya and almond milk now. Don't miss milk at all to be honest and cant really tell the difference in my drinks & food.

One thing I have really noticed is that my stomach does not feel as bloated and erm, things 'movement' wise are going better than they have before. This makes me wonder if I had a sensitivity to milk? Not sure, but things are going better now.

Anyways, back to green tea! Like I said, I have wanted to try it for a long while and I finally took the plunge & picked a box of 40 Pure Green Tea bags up whilst doing our food shopping. My Mr looked at the box & turned his nose up straight away! Lol. I decided to have a small cup of Green Tea after dinner, when we normally have a cuppa. Got to be honest, I wasn't completely sold on it!

When I was pouring the water on top of the tea bag, I was expecting to smell... Garden! Lol. Nope, no garden smell. Good start. :) Then I took the tiniest of sips possible... I couldn't taste it. Flip it. Gulp. Shut eyes. Expected to be revolting... No, not at all. Its quite pleasant actually!! All that build up for a rather pleasant drink. Hahaha. That's it I'm sold! I think its going to be my morning and evening drink.

Now that I have tried Green Tea, I am rather keen to try some others. Preferably no caffeine. Next step, I am thinking of Peppermint Green Tea, or Lemon Green Tea just for a little kick in it. Then maybe a Camomile Tea... There are loads to try!

Have you tried Green Tea?

Or are you a regular drinker of it?

What is your favourite HEALTHY Tea to drink?

And do you have any recommendations for my next Tea to try??

Thanks for reading.
